As I sit down to write my final blog post, I reflect on the blog posts that have gone before. It feels like just yesterday that I wrote my first. When you come to think of it these posts tell the story of my PhD, from my arrival in San Sebastian – See: “San Sebastián“, to our group trip to Leuven where I briefly knew what a spin orbit torque was – See: “Learning about spin orbit torques in Leuven and also having fun in Leuven. Leuven, Belgium, 2022“, to the great many possibilities I found in finite element simulations – See: “Finite elements, a large number of possibilities“, and even the day I made a cake – See: “On the similarities of chip design and the icing of cakes“. Right up until this very morning where I made an outreach post, which can be found below.
It all makes me wonder whether anyone has been reading along with me, refreshing the page, anxiously anticipating the next installment, or if I’ve been screaming into the void this entire time?
